I want to tell you a quick story…

 

It was the fall of 2013 when I was back in college, earning my degree in exercise science. I had recently wrapped filming of Beachbody’s national program INSANITY Max:30 (™) and in the best shape of my life when I was was slide tackled during a soccer game and “pop,” tore my left ACL. 

As I lay there on the field, shaking, I had one of those moments where life flashes before your eyes. The fear of gaining weight because I couldn’t work out paralyzed me.

Just months before, I was fit, toned, and had abs having wrapped filming, yet, on the inside, I was chained to MyfitnessPal, obsessed over calories, and the constant need to exercise was a daily chore. 

It was the opposite of the “freedom” in my body and food I craved. Something needed to change. 

While healing from ACL surgery, I was shocked when my body didn’t gain weight; instead, it lost weight rapidly. This is when things began to shift. 

As I started eating more food, I began to build muscle, feel stronger, wake up with energy, lean out, and more! I realized there must be more to losing weight and building muscle than calories in and out. 

The more I learned the science behind metabolic health, nutrition, and behavior change, the more I started to see the damage the misinformation in the fitness industry was causing.  

This is when I realized that eating more is the fastest and most effective way to lose weight and keep it off… without dieting or hours of cardio! 

For the last 5 years, I have helped hundreds of women learn how to build a healthy lifestyle that keeps them a priority among their busy schedules so they can lose weight, keep it off, and feel incredible in their skin! 

Health and fitness can be a part of your life, not the entire focus. My goal is for you to have the confidence and freedom to go live boldly, experiencing all you want without your body or food holding you back!
